One of the best tools to reduce erosion and moderate the climate, is to plant trees. Aside from providing shade and shelter, timber for construction, fuel for cooking and heating, and fruit for food, they are also crucial in preventing ecological collapse

Superannuation Advice Australia recently partnered with Ecologi in seeding our very own SAA Forest.

Last month, in observance of Love a Tree Day, we sponsored the responsible planting of our first 1,000 native trees in Madagascar, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Kenya and Uganda. The majority of Ecologi’s reforestation happens in low cost, high impact parts of the world to be as effective as possible during the climate crisis.

This month – we celebrate World Environment Day by planting a further 1,000 trees in Peru and Kenya.

We have #OnlyOneEarth.

This planet is our only home. SAA supports the #OnlyOneEarth campaign for transformative environmental change and a sustainable future for all.

And what better legacy is there to leave than a forest, absorbing thousands of C02 each year? Over the coming months, we will be adding more saplings to our growing SAA Forest, and look forward to sharing these exciting details!
