Kris is a highly qualified professional with over 13 years’ experience within the Financial Services industry. His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, with double majors in Accounting & Finance, and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services. Furthermore, Kris is a CPA Associate, Justice of the Peace and has completed a specialist course in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF.)

With his proven industry track-record and solid business reputation, he joins Superannuation Advice Australia (SAA) as the newly appointed Senior Responsible Manager.

Kris’ breadth of expertise spans quality assurance, auditing, paraplanning, risk management, governance, policy development and processing improvement. He is responsible for the significant day-to-day decisions associated with the ongoing delivery of SAA’s financial services, at the highest level, and ensuring stringent compliance with ASIC & APRA regulations.

Kris’ passion and in-depth understanding of the Australian financial services legislation and regulations, namely the Corporations Act, Corporations Regulations, AML/CTF, SIS, Privacy Act, and AFSL conditions, together with how to align internal processes to this legislation – drives his respect for compliance, professionalism, and best interest duty – towards every SAA client.

Outside of work, Kris is kept busy by his energetic young son, as well as investing his business acumen in various local fundraising and community building initiatives.
