About the position

We are seeking a qualified Paraplanner with a proven track record in the financial planning industry. You will be responsible for supporting our financial advisors in delivering high-quality advice and service to our clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Australian financial regulations, strategy, and superannuation and insurance products.

Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct financial analysis and develop financial plans for clients.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to ensure client needs and objectives are met.
  • Prepare financial planning documents, including statements of advice (SOAs), research documents and file notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with Australian financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis on financial products.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior paraplanners.
  • Provide exceptional client service and build strong client relationships.

About you
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Strong Leadership skills required to mentor junior paraplanners.
  • Desired 2 Years experience as a paraplanner in Australia.
  • Extensive experience with advice software XPLAN and/or Adviser Logic.
  • Thorough knowledge of superannuation and insurance strategies; including experience with industry superannuation funds and insurance in superannuation.
  • Experience writing advice documents and familiarity with compliance framework and disclosure requirements
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
